It is very easy to have a successful day and yet not set up for a better tomorrow. In all my years of managing sales/management teams, the one thing that was most important was to have production possibilities pre-set for the next day. This is what I refer to as planting seeds for tomorrow’s success. It is a good habit to take the last 30 minutes of your work day to set up and confirm appointments and plans for the next business day. In doing so your mind will be free to be creative and attentive in every conversation on the following workday, leading to another successful day at the office.
