The mind works on three levels: the conscious, the subconscious, and the unconscious.
Today we look at a few activities of the conscious mind. The conscious mind has four processing stages. Those are: perception, association, evaluation, and decision making. These do not exhaust the study of the mind; however, these four processses are good place to start. We perceive and gather information based on our personal views and through the sensory system. These perceptions are based on our five senses. The rational part of the mind interprets and investigates incoming data. The interpretation by the rational mind goes to your data bank of past experiences and learned patterns of thinking to determine if there is any familiarity with stored data. The evaluation takes place by seeking to understand if and how this new data may effect you. The decision making will determine your course of action, should you respond or is this for someone else to decide. These four processes play an important part of how you communicate with coworkers, friends, and family. They work together instantaneously continuously throughout every day and can make your challenges more difficult or your dreams a reality. You choose by thinking about your thinking, knowing that if you change your thinking you can change your life. Start today
